Tim Britt

Timothy J. Britt is a management consultant with over 15 years of experience in helping businesses identify and implement new strategic capabilities. Tim has particularly strong knowledge and skills in the areas of IT Strategy and planning, program management office frameworks, enterprise portfolio management and large-scale program/project management. Currently Tim is focusing on best practice business processes and technology utilization in the financial services industry. Tim has evaluated or implemented a variety of solutions for consumer products manufacturers, retailers and financial service firms.

Tim's recent projects include implementing a new program management office for a large financial services firm, managing the post-merger integration of supply-chain and financial systems for a consumer projects company and managing the turnaround of a technology services company. Tim has also managed the implementation of Oracle and SAP ERP solutions, formulated IT strategies for large retail and financial service firms and developed logistics and product development capabilities for consumer products companies.

Prior to starting Synoptek in Southern California, Tim was the CIO for Ace Hardware's eCommerce organization — Ourhouse.com, a management consultant with Kurt Salmon Associates and a management consultant for Broadway and Seymour, Inc. Tim focused on the consumer products industry, IT strategy and large-scale program and project management.

Tim graduated with an Industrial Engineering degree from The Georgia Institute of Technology and received his MBA from The J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.

Tim enjoys skiing with his 4 year old daughter, 6 year old son and 7 year old daughter because he can keep up with them ... at least for now.

Eric Codorniz

Eric Codorniz is CTO at Synoptek. Codorniz has over 12 years of information technology integration and networking industry experience. He provides management, implementation, and migration expertise to enterprise clients with a focus on overall security and ROI.

Special Skills include Microsoft networking and client/server migrations. He has substantial knowledge with messaging systems and has assumed architectural and project leadership roles on several large-scale messaging and operating system migrations. Codorniz also has extensive experience with secure networking and remote access solutions, including various implementations of routers, switches, firewalls, concentrators, and authentication services. Codorniz has also spent time aiding companies Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, Business Continuity practices, and has even helped author and teach Backup & Disaster Recovery seminars for Enterprise customers over the course of his career.

Codorniz is particularly capable in advising "C" level clients on strategic IT investment decisions. He has worked extensively with technical as well as non-technical clients including "C" level clients to assist in the vision and implementation of technology to arrive at alternative business solutions.

Codorniz received his Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Vanguard University.

David Ditsworth

David is the Director of Operations for Synoptek and oversees the daily operations of the company. With over 12 years of experience in technology and business management, David has a solid understanding of business dynamics developed through leadership roles in a start-up that grew into a multi-million dollar operation. Successful projects include the delivery of significant technology implementations for clients including a retail price accuracy solution, a custom order entry application, and a direct store delivery management system.

Prior to joining Synoptek, David held key positions with a mobile computing solution provider including solution design, system integration, and executive management. David graduated from California State University, Fullerton with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration.

Robert R. Whiton

Bob Whiton specializes in general management and business development for Synoptek. Previously, Bob was President and CEO of Net Solutions, Inc. before it was acquired and merged into Synoptek in 2006. Net Solutions specialized in designing and managing IT infrastructures for small to medium businesses and had been serving clients in the greater Southern California area for over 20 years.

He began his career in the computer industry with Control Data Corporation in Minnesota as a computer design engineer. Bob co-invented the popular touch sensitive computer screen in an effort to improve the acceptance of computers by healthcare professionals. Bob progressed through various technical positions and then transitioned to the general management of healthcare management companies.

Bob has a B.S. in electrical/biomedical engineering from Iowa State University and did his graduate studies in business administration and information sciences at the University of Minnesota and University of Southern California.

Bob's other activities include: Chairman of the Board of the Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County, past President of the Orange County chapter of Networking Technology Channel (NetTeCH), past President of the National NetTeCH group, past President of the Business Technology Association, immediate past President of the Value Squared Partners investment club, member of the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association, and he is a licensed, instrument-rated pilot.

Michelle Carroll

Michelle is a Senior Engineer with over 8 years of technology integration and networking industry experience. She provides project management, implementation, and migration expertise to SMB clients.

Michelle has worked in either a technical lead or project management role in numerous system architectures, migrations and implementations. These projects have included client and server operating systems and messaging systems, as well as system migrations including Exchange, Lotus Notes, MS Mail, Novell, NT4, Windows 2000, Windows 2003, and applications including anti-virus, monitoring, and disaster recovery solutions. Michelle also has extensive experience with secure networking and remote access solutions, including various implementations of routers, switches, firewalls, concentrators, and authentications services. She has worked extensively with technical as well as non-technical clients to assist in the implementation of new technology.

Michelle has an Associate of Arts Degree from Los Angeles Harbor College.

Stephanie Carroll

Stephanie is a Virtual System Administrator with more than 6 years experience in networking infrastructure support. She has extensive support and troubleshooting experience with Windows operating systems from Windows 95 through Windows 2003. Stephanie is skilled in the configuration and management of various backup software solutions and has extensive cabling experience. Stephanie has been working with remote monitoring and patching tools as well as remote support solutions for the past 3 years.

Stephanie earned her Associate of Arts Degree from Los Angeles Harbor College in 2001. She has obtained various certifications including A+, HP Printer Repair, Graybar cabling standards and Molex Fiber Optic Installation.

Don Choe

Don Choe has over 17 years of experience in the Information Technology area specializing in Project Management. His latest endeavors include consulting for major financial institutions such as Bank of America and New Century Financial Corporation. In addition, he served as VP of Engineering for FiberNet Telecom Group and led various management positions for Zero db, Telehub Technologies Corporation, Alcatel U.S.A. and Express Tel. From 1997 to 2005, he was in charge of implementing large-scale initiatives requiring methodology skills in the area of project management and SDLC. He was also responsible for engineering and establishing co-location, switching, meet-me-rooms and point-of-presence facilities throughout the country. Prior to that, he developed, implemented, and maintained carrier level networks. Mr. Choe graduated Suma Cum Laude and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Telecommunications Management and is currently working on his Project Management Professional Certification.

John Creger

John specializes in developing and implementing Project Management methodology and EPM solutions for organizations in the mortgage and finance industry. In addition, he has extensive PM experience with large mortgage company clients with IT infrastructure, application, and security systems; HRIS systems, accounting and Wire-desk systems and direct marketing.

Prior to joining the Synoptek consulting team, John was involved with business development and marketing for a training software development company, served over 10 years as an Intelligence Systems Analyst with the U.S. Air Force, and performed as an Applications Trainer as a National Cryptologic School Adjunct Faculty Member. John graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.S. in Management of Information Systems and earned his M.B.A. from the Orfalea College of Business at California Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo.

John Gill

Mr. Gill joined the Synoptek team as a Senior Engineer in 2006 and has provided technical leadership in a varied array of projects. Special skills include project management experience, knowledge of various industry operating systems, migrations, data center and server management, networking, extensive security experience including work with the DOD, CIA, FBI, and Sheriff's Dept. He has also worked in various management capacities as a Director or Manager of IT.

Prior to joining Synoptek, John worked as the Director of Information Technology for Franchise Services, Inc. Prior to FSI, he has three years of security and project management/project implementation experience with the Orange County Sheriff's Department where he was the Manager of Information Technology and a Project Implementation Specialist for three years. Additionally, he served as the Manager of Information Technology for Kaplan College. He possesses an ongoing history of achievement with varying roles and responsibilities. John graduated from Keio University in Japan with a B.I.S. in Information Systems and a minor in Japanese Communication.

Hao Lam

Hao is a support engineer with 6 years of experience in the IT field. Hao started his IT career as a field tech back in 2001 and is an expert in computer hardware. Hao has served as a support engineer for Ameriquest Mortgage and Valeant Pharmaceutical prior to working for Synoptek. Hao has experience with many different company applications such as AS400, Laserfiche, Advisors Assistant, Altiris, Citrix, Symantec, Mail Marshal, Cisco, Altigen, and of course Microsoft. Hao has also worked on many projects such as AD migrations, corporate moves, and hardware/software roll outs.

Hao graduated with the Computer Networking Program from Computer Education Institute. Hao acquired the MCP, A+, CNA, and Hubbell certification and is currently working on his CCNA.

On his free time, Hao enjoys fishing, snowboarding, paintballing, jet skiing, and cars. He would love to try ski diving but is afraid of heights.

Kevin Redmond

Kevin specializes in Network Support for client sites. He is currently in position at a client site maintaining network security, software and hardware implementation, and maintaining backups and their libraries along with working closely with over 800 employees.

Kevin has 18 years of experience in the IT consulting industry and was nominated for employee of the year by one of his clients. He has worked with Cisco, Enterasys and HP networking products and has worked closely with Police, Fire and City government.

Miguel Sanchez

Miguel is a business process and IT management consultant with over 10 years of experience managing systems implementations and process design. His particular areas of focus include the Software Development Lifecycle, ITIL framework, enterprise project management frameworks and Operational Excellence methodologies. He has worked on projects that include an implementation of a point of sale system for a Fortune 500 financial services company as well as an implementation of an enterprise project management tool and process set.

Miguel also has extensive knowledge of the service support and service management area and has achieved several ITIL practitioner certifications. He has managed an implementation of the ITIL framework and has helped organization achieve their operational goals through process analysis, design and implementation. With a strong focus on operational excellence and continuous improvement, he has been able to help organizations effectively manage costs while gaining efficiencies in the delivery of quality services.

Shaharom Stripling

Shaharom is the Director of Business Development for Synoptek. His experience in both engineering and sales gives him the ability to assist organizations in identifying areas where they may gain the most benefit from improving their processes and applying technology. It is the combination of these skills with his dedication to provide the highest level of service to our clients that is a key factor in both our client’s success as well as ours.

Prior to joining Synoptek, Shaharom was involved in a leadership role at QuickStart Intelligence as an Account Executive providing IT Organizational development solutions for Fortune 1000 companies. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from University of California at Santa Barbara.

Carol A. Wylie

Carol is responsible for new business development and is currently positioned as "Inside Sales". She has a complete understanding of business process including financial, management, sales and service. Carol has excellent customer relations skills, is a self starter, and is skilled in telemarketing and cold calling. She is persevering and an accomplished presenter.

After selling her business of 18 years, Carol has been with the Company in a variety of sales and marketing positions. Carol has a Masters of Management and a Bachelors of Science degree from Aquinas College. She is a former President of the Business Technology Association and a past Rotary District 5280 Governor. She has completed several international humanitarian medical missions with her Rotary International District. Carol enjoys domestic and international travel, reading and exercise.
